locatie, kamers. service

drukte in de eetzaal waardoor er veel herrie was tijdens het eten. Buiten veel rustiger maar dan moest je wel bij opening direct naar binnen en een plaats zoeken op het terras

« Sur la baie d'Abu Dabbab : magnifique Coraux, tortues et poissons. Hotel confortable. »

Hôtel directement sur la plus belle baie du secteur pour le Snorkeling, La baie Abu Dabbab : magnifique Coraux et nombreuses tortues et poissons. Chambre très confortable, très belle salle de bain. Equipe professionnelle. Piscine toboggan pour les enfants Bel hôtel Bonne restauration (mais pas sa salle à manger)

Piscine assez froide (mais avec une telle baie nous n'étions de toute façon pas intéressés) Salle manger pas réaménagée depuis longtemps très bruyante et effet "cantine" Très gros hôtel et plage un peu tassée autour de la baie. Aucun regret cependant compte tenu de la baie et du reste.

Amazing hotel

It wasn't the first time I visited Malikia, but it wasn't the last either. I love this hotel. Great and kind staff, delicious, varied food. The garden is beautiful and has a free beach for the unforgettable and impressive Abu Dabbab beach. Here, the coral world is magnificent, you can always meet a turtle in the middle of the bay. I recommend this hotel to everyone. Flexible check-in, 14 hour is not mandatory and you can still enjoy the beach freely even after check-out, they don't send you away, and we were even able to use the beach sheets until the evening without any restrictions, giving the guest complete confidence. A wonderful place with absolutely kind and helpful staff. 5 stars on every level.

Only one thing....we can't spend more time here.

« Agréablement surprises des prestations de cet établissement pour l’Égypte »

Hôtel très bien entretenu, chambre confortable, infrastructure très agréable et personnel au petit soin (une mention particulière à À.Alla pour son sourire et son dynamise quotidien). La situation est vraiment idéale sur la baie.

Prévoir de prendre en compte la préservation de la planète : utilisation de l’eau, pailles plastiques, verres plastiques jetable, gaspillage alimentaire (sensibilisation des clients au gaspillage dans les restaurants all incluse).

Wonderful

Simply love Malikia! It’s my second time in less than a year! I travel a lot (from Brazil to Mexico, Arctic to South Africa and Mauritius, Europe to South-Eastern Asia) and it NEVER happened to me before to choose the same resort for the beach leisure But being a freediver I find it perfectly balanced - the home reef, ability to find Dugong with a high quality Diving.DE centre, good food and well located rooms. Hi to the whole Malikia Resort team and especially general manager Nagy and hospitality manager Sheriff It’s actually has been kind of Freediving Mecca for Russian freedivers, we stay here on our way to and from Satahya reef.

Muy mala comida y no hay wifi en las habitaciones si no se paga un extra

La ubicación, la playa y la habitación.

La comida era malisima prácticamente incomible. Las bebidas también eran regulares. No había wifi en las habitaciones si no se pagaba un extra (solo había wifi gratuito en la recepción). También había una zona que para poder acceder era de pago extra y el hotel en general era caro porque el precio era super caro para lo que obtenias.

Amazing stay

The staff are AMAZINGGGGGG, they are so friendly, helpful and so respectful. The beach was really nice with a coral reef area to snorkel around. The location is 30 minutes from the airport which is very convenient. Food is okay, but breakfast is perfect. There are several pools for adults and kids. All in all, it was an amazing stay.

The rooms are a bit old but they are very comfortable and spacious so not really an issue.

Wonderful

Great location, the turtles came to the Beach early in the morning! The staff and the people from the diving Center wete very Kind.

The food was good but some times repetitive the fresh fish should ne presented more often

Tout vraiment luxueux grand choix de restaurant de bar ou l’on nous servait de vrai mojito vrai café vraiment le top ponton avec jolie récif… vraiment très très luxueux nous avions suite familiale, l’eau est donnée en bouteille de partout mini bar pleins fruits à l’arrivé personnel exceptionnel le rêve et pour indication suite à un commentaire que j’avais lu les bracelets identifie dans quelle parti on loge et non distribué à la tête du client nous étions au palace la meilleure partie … donc bracelet bleu voilà

« Super hôtel pour un séjour en famille »

Chambres spacieuses et propres. Ménage fait tous les jours, bouteilles d'eau à volonté. Les chambres rdc donnent sur une petite terrasse. Le personnel a été aux petits soins pour faire en sorte que l'on se sente bien et que l'on passe de bonnes vacances. Corbeille de fruits et boissons à l'arrivée Buffets à volonté, chacun y trouve son bonheur (pasta corner pour les appétits difficiles de nos ados !). Le thème des repas change tous les jours (mention spéciale pour le thème..... Égyptien !!!). La soirée du nouvel an a été parfaite. Nous n'avons pas testé le resto de la plage, ni les activités proposées. L'hôtel donne sur une plage magnifique et peu fréquentée. Parfait pour la baignade, le snorkeling et la plongée en famille. Merci à toute l'équipe

Petit bémol pour a qualité des boissons Une seule connexion Wi-Fi par chambre (10€ la connexion supplémentaire). Le wifi fonctionne bien dans le lobby et les parties communes, ainsi qu'à la plage Piscine non chauffée = en décembre la mer était plus chaude. Les enfants n'ont pas pu profiter de la piscine

What was the highlight of Malikia Resort Abu Dabbab

I have never reviewed a hotel before but I just had to do this review for Malikia

Firstly, the food was fabulous - freshly cooked, very tasty and excellent variety from one day to the next. Everything else - the room; the staff etc were fantastic as well. I tipped as I wanted to and never felt like I had to like some places make you feel. Reception (Mohamed, Rahim, Sherif) were very helpful and friendly for general information and booking taxis; storing luggage etc. It was December/January so the pool was cold but who wants a pool when the beach is so nice? Three extremely nice reefs to snorkel for free with very easy access from the beach. Also very easy for beginners. I honestly loved it!! Top tip - if you snorkel between 7am and 8am you might have the entire reef to yourself....and the turtles of course...pure magic :-)

Be aware they are currently refurbishing their rooms so if you want their one of their better rooms go for the Superior. But if you want to save a few pounds the Standard rooms are perfectly fine for most people I would say.

Fabulous reseort and staff

Everything was beautiful. The entire team was cooperative and friendly. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere at the resort was pleasant overall. The most special thing about the place was the sea. You can go snorkelling right near the first point in the water and see various types of fish, which is a wonderful experience. A tip for anyone visiting is to bring their own snorkelling gear. Thanks to everyone in the staff, especially Mr.Nagy, and thanks for the birthday cake and the small party and everything.

The end of the vacation and leaving this beautiful place.

Nice beach, ok resort

- Very nice private sandy beach right next to the reef, 2 diving schools within walking distance - Plenty of food offered, including a lot of veggies. The meal time windows are relatively flexible - Resort looks a bit outdated, but it’s overall clean and comfortable - Most of the staffs are friendly and helpful, and nobody actively fishes for tips which is nice for Egypt

- They try to be international by doing themed dinners, but they are at most an attempted imitation of cuisines they are unfamiliar with using Egyptian ingredients. It makes no sense to me, it would have been much nicer if they can offer more Egyptian food options instead. There are veggie dishes, but not many protein options for vegetarians, I would have expected to see more local bean stews etc. - Overall we had a good stay, and we were also able to eat at the restaurant on the day after our checkout, which was convenient. However, we felt ripped off due to the 30 Euro taxi fare for a 20 mins ride to the airport, offered by the resort. The problem is that once you are there, you are kind of trapped in the middle of nowhere and they can ask for whatever ridiculous price they like. The front desk also “helped” us exchange a 50 euro bill to a lot of coins and a 20 euro note. Surprise surprise, the taxi coordinator (inside of the resort) refused to take the coins. So basically, the receptionist used us to get rid of the coins he didn’t want. This final interaction just before our departure killed our mood. We were happy with the resort but left there with a nasty taste - Make sure you have everything you need with you. e.g. Nivea sunblock would cost 25 euros at the resort pharmacy. I really don’t know how these resorts have the audacity to ask for crazy prices when the local income level is so low. When travelling in Egypt, I often feel stupid as I almost always end up paying prices which are up to 10 times in some cases only because I’m not Egyptian. This is a general observation, not related to the sunblock example - During our 5 nights stay, we spotted 2 cockroaches, 1 outside in the building, 1 in our bathroom

Everything is perfect, the most beautiful sunrises, an ideal beach, and fantastic people!

A fantastic place—this time we visited the hotel spontaneously, but it’s already one of our many stays here. The hotel is perfectly located, with excellent service and very good food. We had a wonderful time and will be coming back again in a few months. Special thanks to Tarek at the reception, who helped us organize everything on-site, as we decided to come at the last minute. We love this hotel—everything is perfect, the most beautiful sunrises, an ideal beach, and fantastic people!
